Beef Picanha
Picanha is a cut that comes from the top of the rump. It is also known as the sirloin cap. It is a little like a tri tip in that it has three sides, about the same size, and has a nice fat cap. Picanha is a cut they love in brazil. They slice it into thick steaks and cook them on a skewer. I cook mine on the BBQ, in the oven, on the smoker, or cut up into steaks and seared. they are all good! This cut is packed with flavor!!
There are only two per steer so they go fast!
