Beef Picanha

Picanha is a cut that comes from the rump. Its a little like a tri tip in that it has three sides, about the same size, and has a nice fat cap. Picanha is a cut they love in brazil. They slice it into thick steaks and cook them on a skewer. I cook mine on the BBQ, in the oven, on the smoker, or cut up into steaks and seared. they are all good! This cut is packed with flavor!!
